Unfortunately ending with the second season, this show had a rocky start with season 1 but really digs in deep with season two. The stories are dark, complicated and expands the Terminator universe in ways far better than the 3rd and 4th movies. Now that it’s on Netflix streaming, you have no excuse not to check it out. Also Shirley Mason is in it! Yes, the singer from Garbage.

Here’s the blurb from Netflix:

With the fate of humanity at stake, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) fights to protect her teenage son, John (Thomas Dekker), from a series of nearly indestructible robots sent from the future to kill him in this exciting series based on the Terminator films.
